Delivery Policy

Note that in general if we receive your order before 12:00 noon weekdays then you will receive the goods the next working day. Orders are dispatched by Royal Mail: Special Delivery (next day) for larger items and First Class Post for smaller items.

Returns Policy

Please Note: all returns require a Return Material Advice (RMA) number. Please contact us for a RMA number before making a return.

What is your returns policy?
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 10 days of receipt and request a RMA. The item must not be used, must be 'as new' when returned to us, and it must be returned in the original packaging complete with any accessories. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received back at Stafford Instruments Ltd. we will issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method. Please note this policy has some limitations and does not apply to business customers.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged or items are missing?
On receipt of your goods please inspect and inform us immediately of any damaged or missing items, so that we may put matters right.

What do I do if I discover my goods are faulty within 28 days of receipt?
Please contact us for an RMA. We will exchange or refund the item provided it is 'as new' and is not damaged by accident, misuse or neglect.

What do I do if I discover my goods are faulty after 28 days but within 12 months of receipt?
Please contact us for an RMA. We will repair or replace the goods within 5 working days and return the product to you free of charge.

What do I do if my goods fail after 12 months?
Please contact us. We can usually repair the goods within 5 working days. If not repairable then we will offer you a discount on an equivalent new product.
